Dear Clients,

I will keep you up to date with this matter as it progresses.  Over the last 12 months I have been putting together a compilation of business documentation, photographic evidence, your testimonies and letters of support and my financial records to demonstrate and evidence the level of damage incurred to me as a result of the unsuccessful action taken against me by the human Chiropractor Board of Queensland in conjunction with the Office of Health Practitioner Registration Boards ("OHPRB").

I now have appointed a lawyer to act for me who has instructed Counsel to proceed in their capacity.  Steps are underway for me to be able to take the appropriate court action in seeking compensation from these Qld Government departments for their highly defammatory action which has caused me business losses and damaged my name, health and reputation.

This action commenced in 2003 and escalated in 2006 at a time in my life when my entrepreneurial business was booming.  I had just opened my 4th clinic in Gympie, Queensland when I was forced to close down all 4 clinics and cease operating under the threat of a possible $75,000 fine or a jail sentence.

In the Beenleigh Courthouse in 2007 the judgment was in my favour.  Since that time I tried to rebuild my business, with very little finances as a result of legal expenses.  I was struggling to regain clientele and I could not work out why until late in 2008 when a new client informed me of a Statement that they found on the OHPRB website about me which contradicted what I was telling her about my history.  The Statement had been published on the Internet since April 2007 before the end of the court case and stated that I had been found "Guilty" and prosecuted, along with other negative damaging statements.

The compensation I receive will go a small way towards building my business back up to what it would have been today, had the Boards not interfered, and to put me back in the position I was in - to be more accessible to the wider animal community so I can save more animals that are in pain and otherwise destroyed without my help.

I thank you for your continued and ongoing support and in following this case.

Kind Regards,
Doc John Jamieson
